Rain, Rain, Rain

Who told us that Monterrey was a desert area?! It's been raining for about a week now... and not just a little light drizzle. Nope, there are torrential downpours, hitting so fast and furiously that we're waking up at night!

Speaking of waking up at night, there's been this dog in our neighbourhood that Kris is ready to go shoot. To quote him, "I usually love animals, but I'm ready to deal with this one..." (or something like that! Almost every morning at about 4am or 5am, this thing starts going off like a car alarm.

Nothing too interesting has happened today. Kris is at his Open House tonight, so I'll let him write about it if he wants. Had my first parent-teacher interview. The best part was when she told me her kid is really starting to enjoy school this year! Yay for something I'm doing right, hopefully!! :)

Tomorrow we're celebrating August & September staff birthdays. How? By eating tacos at 7:50am. Vive el Mexico.
