We finally took the plunge and ate at Martin's. I had originally boycotted it because there was a kid's indoor playground inside. We went in, and were immediately confused. It was very smoky at the entrance way (yes, in Mexico you're still allowed to smoke everywhere!). We were then shown to our very nice booths by the windows and given diner-like menus. There were business people everywhere, but the staff dressed like school cafeteria workers. The decor in the restaurant ranged from cafeteria to upscale African. And the bathrooms had couches and granite countertops. We're not really sure what the goal of the restaurant was, but, oh well!
It was here that we also spotted someone with a Haggai brochure. It turns out Haggai will be having some sort of meeting right near our house in November! And one of the two ladies at this table turns out to be an alumnus of Haggai!! Amazing how God's working!
