Overloading...

Here is the "Diary of a First Year Teacher" type of blog:

Yep, I feel like I'm getting burnt out. Don't want to do another thing to do with teaching at the moment. I had a brilliant plan to help all these kids with literacy, so I began researching guided reading, reading strategies, literacy blocks, literacy centres, and all things literacy... And then I actually voiced my opinion and suggested to my team at school to implement them.

HA. Why did I speak up?! I don't want to read another thing. I don't want to try another new thing.

I just wish there was a teacher at this school with some experience who could have stopped me before I started, telling me not to do too much so soon!
