Canadian Thanksgiving -

Mexican Style!

We celebrated Thanksgiving at a fellow Canadian's home this weekend.

We had the meal at Yvon's house.
L to R: Corinne, Monique, Marion, Yvon, Mikhail

We had a potluck and a grand ol' time. There were even several honorary Canadians! We ate chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato pie, and danced up a storm to Canadian hits like "Barrett's Privateers," Great Big Sea and Spirit of the West songs.

Our not-so-traditional, but yet it worked, Thanksgiving meal.

A couple of our honorary Canadians -
a Mexican and an American who drank out of a spaghetti jar
(Roberto & Brad, respectively).

Dancing and swaying to Barrett's Privateers.

We had representatives from East to West - Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and of course, Newfoundland. We can say the "Nation of Quebec" was there too as we had a couple of Frenchies from other provinces thrown in :).

Happy Thanksgiving! Bonne action de gr
