A Perfect Fall Day

We woke up late today and I made us bacon & eggs with fresh oranges on the side. With cups of coffee in our hands, we made our way to our balcony where we enjoyed a tranquil breakfast overlooking the pineapple fields. It’s November, and we can sit outside to eat. Life is good.

We also got to go for a stroll around Nanzih (the next town over from us). I just took a few photos of some interesting happenings:

(Above Left) There was a huge line-up at this little restaurant. We’re not sure why it’s so popular, except maybe because their dishes were cheap (35 NT = $1 CDN for pork & rice, and 75 NT = $2.50 CDN for Cod fish and rice)??
(Above Right) Not sure I want to eat here though – check out how they do their dishes!

(Right) This man was just setting up his food stand. Deep fried stuff stand – you can pick what you like from the buckets on the other side of this truck and he’ll deep fry it for you using that little barbeque-like stand. See the meat on the table in the foreground? Lovely. Just don’t think about it and it tastes really good.
