San Miguel de Allende - March 18

We visited this silver-mining town near Queretaro during our visit with Fernando. It's a beautiful place with lots of hustle and bustle, but way too many hippie foreigners.

A skinny little building - one of many neat places in SMA.

Dentist, anyone?

The walk in from the bus station.

I asked this lady if I could take her photo. She nodded
and went straight back to what she was doing.

We think this was a pinata. At least we hope so.

In the main square.

Ice cream from an outdoor wagon in 30C weather...

The central cathedral, and of course, the
requisite bouncing castle (or cathedral?) in front.

The main zocalo.

A view of the town.

Walkway up to this inverted church.

Old Mexicans hanging in the shade at one of the side plazas.

A taxi pick-up - first I've ever seen!

This gas tank was just in the middle of a street.
