We put in a lot of work, and I came up with the theme "Universal Language of Love." The kids made speeches, performed songs and dances, and wrote and recited poems for their moms. It was definitely quite the undertaking.

An acrostic poem in Spanish.
Then an acrostic about mothers in English.
Talking with the hands - hula-ing to a song about love.
The kids each learned how to say "I love you mom" in different languages.
The two big finales - the Chinese song "Shi Shang Zhi YouMa Ma Hao" and "Love in Any Language" in sign language.
