I need to write a quote for the top of our class page in the yearbook. I asked my kids on Friday to help me out. Here's how the conversation went and how I discovered that maybe I need to re-evaluate what I'm saying to them! Not so wise after all, me thinks! :)
Me: "What wise things do I say a lot?"
Kid 1: "Umm.. do your homework!"
Kid 2: "Work quietly."
Kid 3: "Whisper."
Kid 4: "Turn to page..."
Kid 5: "Guys!"
Me: "No, wise things!!!!"
Kid 6: "Don't erase."
Yep... that about sums up my year. I'm glad I've taught them well!
