You Can’t Beat Old Friends

This Christmas, I got to spend some amazing time with several old friends from TAS. It’s amazing how you can be so comfortable around some people, even with a 10 year gap of not seeing each other or even talking to each other. We met up in Taipei for hotpot, and then Timmy thought it’d be neat for us all to go to Kenting together. So the very next day saw us traipsing off to Kenting, where we had a fun-filled day of doing all the things you just have to do in Kenting: swimming, jumping off Nixon's rock, trying to climb Witch's Peak. Then we returned to Kaohsiung and saw Morrison, Modern Toilet Restaurant, went back to the newly remodeled, but still yummy, 我家牛排 (My Home Steak), and even hit Rui Feng nightmarket. All done within 17 hours from the time they left Taipei till the time I dropped Timmy off at the HSR.

I’m blessed by these international friendships and how awesomely spontaneous and loving of Taiwan they are!
