Here We Come A-Caroling (in Taiwan)!

Tonight we were blessed. What started out as a funny idea to Kris & me turned into a memory to last a lifetime. We decided on Sunday that this week we would pick a random day and surprise our fellow staff members with some caroling. And did we ever carol.

We dressed up in winter gear (despite the 20C temperature), and started from our “penthouse” floor, working our way down. We picked up a few people along the way, and  to their credit, our audiences were extremely receptive!

We then decided to proceed up the hill to our assail, uh, carol to our other friends. There again, we picked up more people and eventually had a group of almost 20 people caroling away in a Taiwanese neighbourhood.

What joy and fun we had in this simple attempt at bringing the Christmas spirit to a country that barely knows the Lord. I hope that the neighbours in our little village enjoyed it as much as we did.
