The Rest of Our Canadian Summer

I've wondered several times this summer how long I could sit at home with no responsibilities.
Aside from my one-week job (which was incredibly relaxing, by the way, and in which I got a future promise to be hired as a cashier, which would fulfill my second dream), I was perfectly content to do nothing.

Now my question is this: Does anyone want to sponsor Kris & I to see how long we could sit at home doing nothing before we are bored out of our minds? We'd need to be paid enough to eat and save some money in case no one wants to hire us after months or years of unemployment. Let us know of any offer :).

Anyway, we had a terrific time in Toronto. I think this was the first time in ten years that I was actually really sad to leave. We've discovered what makes a good friend, and through their welcomes, we've learned a bit more about how to make others feel loved and special. Des cooked us many excellent meals, and we bonded a lot over Rock Band. I have definitely confirmed that I have no rhythm.

Here are photos from our terrific time in the big city!

Watching the softball game - Tracy had her personal
butler.

I love Eastern Canada - especially their milk in a bag.

Just For Laugh's giant locust.

We had a great time at JFL!!!

Jason Alexander LIVE!!!

My good lighting designer friend, Spike.

Giraffes (manned by people) roamed downtown T.O.

The sign says JUMP, Kris!

Jason & Bonnie's awesome little girl & Elmo.

One of two amazing dishes Des made for us - this one is a good steak!

I did this for you Des in the multiplayer in flight game of
Mahjong :) haha - you can thank me later!

Kris and his wine... or lack of it.

Guess who's pregnant?

Des really does love me...

Jimmy can't get enough of the pregnant woman.

The other great meal Des made us - some kind of fish.

Kath's baby, Izaiah.

I don't know what to do with these little guys!

I love how he's sitting on the table!! We went to Cora's
with Kathryn & Tony & Izaiah and had a great time catching up.

BBQ at our place was a blast - it was a nice reunion with Tim & Faith,
Wallace, Ryan, Brian & Karen, Ben & Holly, Des, Jason & Bonnie & fam,
Lil & John, Jimmy & Tracy, Eric & Nicole & fam

Natalie already likes Rockband.

Our all summer long activity that entertained all for hours:
Rockband

The other all-summer-long activity. I bet the hammock
is still in the living room!

Celebrating my fifth grand uncle's birthday. They're so amazing!

The giant lure he got for his bday.

The cousins minus Celeste & Wendy & William & Gloria.

There were some tasty lobster & chicken legs here :).
The new hangout spot for the Fung gang - it's supposed
to be Legend, but not it's called LEG.

Kris wanted me to take a photo with his
sword to show how big it was. It was HEAVY!

We also played fun games with swords....

Off with his head!
