Puzzle Mania

Eighteen Thousand Very Small Pieces

It all started before our arrival in Taiwan. Apparently, Mark found a puzzle and told Bill about it. It was an 18,000 piece (yes, it really exists!) puzzle, and Bill actually bought it. When we arrived, we toured the Kohlers' place, and realized that the master bedroom was now the official puzzle room. Talk about dedication! It definitely gave us something to do on the many rainy days that greeted us upon our arrival in Kaohsiung. Luckily, Bill had already finished most of the puzzle, so we were happily getting to taste the end results rather quickly!

Working away... nearing the end.

The last third of the puzzle, with only a handful of pieces remaining.

Yay!! We did it! (Well, mostly Bill & Sarah did it, but
we got to reap the reward of feeling great at being there for the
finish!)

Putting in the last piece!

It's so big, I could only get about 1/3 of the puzzle into the photo.

Here's the puzzle in its entirety - 2/3 are in the background,
against the wall, and the remaining third is on the table.
You can gauge how tall it is by comparing the one against
the wall to the door on the left.
