Oh what fun to see the gang again... minus a few. Sarah Lyle was awesome for calling everyone up since no one seems to keep their email addresses! We met up at good ol' Denny's for breakfast at 8am.
Sarah's now a high-powered business woman - Tim was telling us that she makes more sales by herself than.... Anyway, I can't remember the official stat, but you get the idea!
DJ (now Daniel) and Adina, and their baby boy, Joshua, were there too. Adina ended up getting her degree in Geology, and DJ is now a high school math teacher, which may explain why their baby boy is such a smart cookie. He's only a year and a half, and he can already read the alphabet, speak some Chinese, and be a real charmer :)!
Kathy Pearson and Evelyn are also in Fresno, and they're both so grown up now... I can't believe how old I felt.
It was really great for me to have Kris meet all these special people from the "Taiwanese Episodes" of my life story.
Thanks DJ & Adina for paying for our meal - you were all very gracious hosts!! We forgot to give you all a little gift though - we were on the road when we remembered. So next time, you'll have to either come to Monterrey, Mexico, or Elbow, Saskatchewan, or Toronto, Ontario to come get your jars of homemade jam!
