Ottawa - it's not so bad

Okay, I've done nothing but complain about Ottawa, but really, when it's sunnier and warmer outside, it's not so bad!

We've been counting the cities that we've lived in. Ottawa's the 7th city I've lived in, in 4 different countries. Unfortunately, I'll never beat Kris. He's lived in over 11 cities (he can't even keep track now), in 4 countries as well.

So I've started my final placement in a Grade 4 class. There's thirty-one kids, and they are all very awesome kids! I told a couple of them that Mr. Knutson was from Elbow, Saskatchewan, and that there was a town nearby called "Eyebrow". They thought that was Hilarious!

Kris is teaching Grade ones, and he can't believe how little they know. He was doing an art lesson using different objects dipped in paint to create "textures". I had these fabric flowers that I thought would be neat for them to use - apparently the "texture" thing was beyond them, and they just used these flowers to smear paint around :)

I love these kids, but boy, they are so much more work than Grade 7/8 kids!
