We have been in Toronto for the last two months. It has been a crazy time of trying to get back into life here in Canada. We are enjoying connecting with old friends and make new ones.
One of the most important results of this summer has been the time that I have been able to spend with my little family. Dude, for one, I have spent a great amount of time with. While Marion will take charge of the little one, I get to hang out and play with him. We have had a nonstop summer of basketball, soccer, balloons, Lego, and trips to the park. It has been one of the best summers yet.
Tonight, after a fantastic supper consisting of stuffed, home-made burgers prepared by Marion, we decided to take a trip to the park to meet up with a friend of ours and his two-year old boy. We hung out for an hour where dude and the boys spent the time playing all over the equipment and the sandbox. It was fantastic to see them get together and play like that.
On the way home dude came up with the idea of kicking off his shoes and chasing after it. That led to the game we played the rest of us home, all of us kicking our shoes to see who could kick it the farthest. Everyone but Mui Mui, who doesn't wear shoes yet.
