New Idea

A friend of mine wrote a list of things she wants to do now that she's 42, and one of those was the 365 project. I thought it was a great idea, but I didn't want my photos for the whole world to see. So instead of leaving my blog completely useless and empty, I'm going to try to post ONE photo a day for 365 days, starting today, that captures my day (or at least part of my day).

So here it is: November 8, 2010, Day 1 of 365.

Friends: Two of my friends and I took our kids to the Dashe Park. Not too far away, but an outing for all. The boys ate their picnic lunch standing, looking longingly at the fire trucks across the street. It amazes me how much the young appreciate the little things in life.
