Tainan a Second Time

We got to take Mom & Dad out to Tainan when they came down for a visit! We saw a lot of stuff we didn't see the last time we went with the Griffins. If you want to get a feel for the *REAL* Taiwan, Tainan is definitely the city to visit.

No ugly music posters - just poems written by locals!

Firecrackers strewn the entire length of the
street - ending at a wedding banquet.

Setting up for the wedding banquet.

Mom & Dad in a traditional neighbourhood.

Creative uses for garbage cans - think it's
Canada Post approved?

The "Treehouse" - an old house that's been taken over
by this large tree...it was very beautiful, yet eerie.

Mom peeking out from behind a root.

Mom & Dad at the Fort.

The famous alley - we found it again!
Turns out there's a cute little coffee shop
through this alley and up stairs that are
almost as narrow as this alley.
