Well, we've done it. We made it to Iowa with air miles! We didn't even know about the UNI fair until late December, when we madly filled in our application in time for the Jan 13 deadline. But God blessed us with the timing, the airmiles, friends in Iowa (it's worth keeping in touch!), and people we could ask advice from at the fair.
Within two days, we could have almost gone to Venezuela, Germany, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Thailand and China. But we've sealed our fate, signing a contract to work at Instituto San Roberto in Monterrey, Mexico. Not bad - two years of warmth and sunshine, mountains and teaching at a fabulous school.
Now all we have to do is get those certificates... two and a half months left!!!
